According to the diligent people at Deadline:
HBO has just picked up the Mike White-Laura Dern comedy Enlightened for a second season, while canceling three other comedy series: Hung, Bored To Death and How To Make It In America.This brings much pain to my heart. I was a big fan of How To Make It In America and that love could be seen by the many episodes that I posted here on the site. I'm not exactly sure why HBO is laying the axe to the show but according to Complex Magazine, How to Make it in America never quite found the audience that the network was hoping for.
